Project Brief
Botanical Garden Palette is a fictional community website designed for people who find joy in both gardening and botanical art. The goal was to create a responsive web experience that brings these two worlds together, offering online classes, curated resources and a community space for creative exchange.
The site is structured to support both new visitors and returning members, with features like a class catalog, a shop for tools and prints and a blog highlighting tutorials and artist stories. The design emphasizes warmth and accessibility, reflecting a peaceful, creative atmosphere shared by gardeners and artists alike.

Background
I chose this theme because I’m both a gardening enthusiast and an artist. It felt like a natural extension of my own interests, and I saw an opportunity to create something personal, purposeful and a little different from more conventional project ideas. Botanical Garden Palette (BGP) was designed as a vibrant community hub where gardeners and artists could connect, learn and inspire each other. Members can exchange tips, techniques and personal projects, fostering a collaborative and creative environment for those who enjoy making art within their gardens.

The final images show my process: wireframes for both mobile and desktop layouts, highlighting the site’s responsive structure. An excerpt of my HTML code is also included to demonstrate how design decisions were implemented during development.
